Lynn was born and raised near the rivers Lewis, Cedar Creek, and Columbia, studied music in the shadow of Mount Tahoma, and spent 25 years on the Palouse with her husband raising their kids. They now reside next to the waters of the Salish Sea in Olympia, WA.  She enjoys singing, camping & hiking,  gardening, and yoga.  Lynn learned silk painting from artist Kristen Gilje at the Grunewald Guild, who not only taught her to paint on silk, but has been an inspiration and friend ever since.  Artist Jan Richardson’s friendship and artwork has also inspired Lynn’s work over the years.
